Waterhouse water softeners, protecting your taps and pipes with soft, calcium-free water

Water with too much calcium in it (hard water) not only causes limescale to form on taps and other surfaces, but in time it damages your supply system and all equipment connected to it. Only a small amount of limescale needs to build up on resistances in water heaters, dishwashers and washing-up machines for much more energy to be consumed. Double the amount of detergent is needed for hard water, as compared with soft water. As a result, from a hardness of 14º dH (hardness value 3), it is fundamental to remove calcium from drinking water or non-drinking water.
